In Loving Memory
Molly Stanton died suddenly Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, of injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born May 11, 1986, in Meadville, a daughter of Gary and Julie Lauer Stanton. She was a 2004 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and a December 2007 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in education.
In the spring of 2008, she worked as a substitute teacher in Conneaut Lake, Meadville and Erie. For the 2008-09 school year, she was serving at Jamestown Elementary School through Keystone SMILES AmeriCorps Program. She was also attending classes for her master’s degree at Edinboro University. For several summers, she also worked at the Iroquois Club, Conneaut Lake.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed water-skiing, running, craft projects with her students, music and she loved to dance. More than anything, she loved to smile and enjoyed making other people happy.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, Gary and Julie Stanton of Conneaut Lake, include her sister, Kelsey Monyok and her husband, Michael, of Sewickley; her brother, Robby Stanton, in school at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College; her grandmothers, Peg Stanton of Conneaut Lake and Jean Lauer of Erie; her aunt, Kim Graham and her husband, Jim, of Erie; four uncles, John Lauer and his wife, Pam, of Erie, Doug Stanton and his wife, Chris, Tom Stanton and his wife, Jane, and Randy Stanton and his wife, Linda, all of Meadville; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death
by her grandfathers, Bob Stanton and Jim Lauer.

The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
